Technically speaking, dyosefina is a chemist. She had worked in several laboratories, local and international so to speak.
She had worked as a regulation officer in a government agency and handled analysis of plastics and products that may have incidental contact with food and drug products. She was also in charge of the registration of cosmetics and household products prior to marketing and sale. Target: consumer protection.
She had also been a chemist in a top power generating company and was tasked to handle laboratory analysis of environmental samples of different matrices. Here, she was involved in several multi-partite environmental monitoring and audit activities concerning the company’s power plants located around the country. For a short time, she served as an analyst in a consultancy firm handling the analysis of laboratory samples coming from the steam generators. In another service laboratory, she was a client chemist handling customer queries and complaints. Target: customer satisfaction.
She has also worked in a Singapore-based power station, in- charge of a fuel oil additive project. Target: monitoring of fuel-oil additive performance/ customer satisfaction.
At present, she free lances as a consultant on quality management system documentation and part-times as a technical expert in chemical testing (environmental analysis) in the assessment of laboratories seeking accreditation. Target: QMS/ Assessment/audit of laboratories in accordance with established standards.
Update: dyosefina surprises not only herself but everyone else when she went back to work at her golden year. She now serves as a regulatory officer in one of the country’s multinational company. She oversees and fulfills regulatory requirements in countries where her company exports its products. Target: compliance to regulations
